It is a great honor for me to introduce you to the District Council through the Internet, a medium which has made cross-border communications possible and has ushered in the age of information and globalization.
The Council has twenty councilors who are selected as representatives of the constituents of the District. The Council has nineteen councilors who are selected as representatives of the constituents of the District. They share a strong pride and a sense of mission to advance the welfare and inte rest of local residents and to make the district a better place to live.
