Computer skills training
Customized classes for specific groups such as disabled persons, seniors, and housewives
Computer skills competition
One competition per year with 240 participants to test computer utilization and Internet search ability

For social groups which are apt to be left behind in the information age, such as low-income persons, the disabled, and organizations for social welfare recipients.

Digitalizing District Administration

Internet use
To offer a website on laws and regulations related to district governance and to establish an electronic bidding management system
Computerization of administration work
To digitalize administrative records (146,940 pages), blueprints and floor plans (421 pages), and buildingdeeds(90,900 pages); To computerize construction and machinery registration procedures, healthcare information systems, and private billboard management, etc.
Expansion of information infrastructure
To distribute 200 units of high-performance PCs, and expand communication network capacities by installing fiber optic cables and Internet lines (eighty to 100 lines) for subdistrict (Dong) Information Centers; To introduce an electronic billingsystem and computerize administrative procedures.
